An honest mistake...

My house broke :(
A ladder fell and broke the water spicket on the side of my house, which proceded to shatter a plastic pipe inside my house, causing a waterfall inside the drywall.
Ever seen Titanic? My house wasn't in first class...
I'm not going to whine about it or anything but it really kind of sucks. Living in one small room with a family of four ain't a tea party to say the least. Oh well.
This little tune is both situationally amusing and appropriate...

Discovery= ENLIGHTENMENT

Well I found a new clothing website. It's local (reppin' Eastern Washington, heyyyy), super cute, SO VINTAGE, and somewhat affordable.
They go by the name of Spool No. 72. Though I don't believe they've gained much notoreity as of late, they're my new favorite thing. Honestly, if you're my kind of person, just one glance at their inventory will have you in tears, clutching your credit card and checking your balance. I think I may need to do some major overhaul of my Christmas list, and change every item to something from Spool. And another thing... the business is run by a mother and her two daughters. How beautiful. How precious. How utterly heartwarming. I think we all should support them and their family business, mostly because the apparel featured is like an Urban-Anthro hybrid from planet oh-em-gee, but also because I respect anybody who starts a business with their mother.
Here are some winners from their site:

Aaaaaaaand...

That's all for today!

I wanna make you happy...

This song... Honestly, no words could ever even begin to explain my feelings towards this song. It's just... LOVE. Oh, look. I found a word.
Anyway, this song just sums up my whole existence. All I ever want in life is for all those around me to be happy. And while that sounds a little "She doesn't even go here!" from Mean Girls, it's a simple request, and there's no excuse why it can't be filled.  It's the little things, like waking up with 15 of my closest friends around me, going to shows and singing together, or going to a tree lighting. Or even lip synching shitty songs in the car. Whatever that miniscule moment is for others, I want to find it for them. And make them happy. And have you heard? Happiness is contagious. (And a warm gun, but that's another bag of tomatoes).

Oh, and Luke Pritchard?

Call me.

Inspiration

This is me...

Food for thought

Here's some food for thought:
Money doesn't buy happiness but it sure would buy a lot of things that would make me happy.
And though the skeptical, material-hating population of the world would pooh-pooh at the thought that this monetary happiness could, in fact, be long lasting, I challenge them.
Some things I could buy with a million dollars:
  • Some rain boots (have you looked outside today?)
  • A FUCKING MOCHA
  • A husband
  • A dress that didn't expose more of me than even I'd like to see
  • An iPhone
  • A restaurant that only I would eat in
  • A college education
  • A beautiful house for my husband and I (hey, he's gotta be satisfied somehow)
  • An island
  • A recording studio
  • And A FUCKING MOCHA
Riddle me that, naysayers!
